Burton Birthday

This is a photo of a 3D Burton theme Birthday card I made for my mom. The left side of the image a.k.a the worm and pin stripped blonde gentleman is from Beetlejuice and the right side a.k.a the moon, spiral hill and skeleton is from Nightmare Before Christmas. (for those that don't know)
Anyways the way I set the "image" is it's in 3 different layers of images. The first layer is the background consisting of only the sky and the desert. The 1st level of the pop-out image is the Sandworm (Movie version of Beetlejuice) and the Spiral Hill (N.B.C). The 2nd level of the pop-out image is of Beetlejuice (cartoon version) and Jack Skellington. Each part is drawn individually so I can focus on getting the details and quality in each smaller piece and put it together rather then doing it all at once.
Though for the Beetlejuice portion of the image I chose the Film version of the Sand worm because in terms of design I like the film version better then the cartoon version.  Though Beetlejuice as a character I like both the original Michael Keaton role and the cartoon but in terms of drawings I went with the cartoon cause it's easier.

I rarely do 3D cards (cause they are time consuming as HELL) but I enjoyed this one mostly cause I'm a Burton fan and greatly love Beetlejuice (film and cartoon) as well as Nightmare Before Christmas.
